Irontown members, volunteers needed
Do you have an interest in giving back to your community? The Negaunee Irontown Association board could use your help. Currently, we are in need of board members, committee members for certain events and volunteers to do a variety of tasks. If you have some time that you'd like to give back to Negaunee, e-mail us or call 486-8084 and leave us a message with your contact information.
Irontown members needed
The Pioneer Days and Heikki Lunta celebrations are popular events, celebrations that Negaunee residents and alumni look forward to each year. To help support this event, individuals are asked to become members of the Negaunee Irontown Association.
This year, membership cost is $30, and members receive a card with special offers. Many businesses have offered discounts and incentives on the membership card.
Becoming a member of Irontown is quite simple. Membership requires just a $30 annual fee. All members receive a membership card, entitling them to discounts at area businesses and a bi-annual newsletter. Members do not need to live, work or have graduated from Negaunee to become members. Most importantly, membership does not require any meeting commitments.
To support the Negaunee Irontown Association and the community, print your name and address on a sheet of paper and mail that and a check for $30, made payable to the Negaunee Irontown Association to:

Welcome to the Negaunee Irontown Associations Web site. This site is intended to give you up-to-date information o
n our annual events--Pioneer Days and Heikki Lunta Winterfest--as well as information regarding our organization.
The Negaunee Irontown Association’s mission is to preserve the heritage of Negaunee and the discovery of iron ore in the Great Lakes Region in 1844. We encourage graduates, friends and former residents to return to Negaunee to participate in a continuing relationship with the community and to encourage their support of the Negaunee Historical Society.
We invite you to become a member or to continue your membership so that we may continue to bring you these annual celebrations.
