Community Picnic Offers Events for All Ages

The 2010 Pioneer Days Community Picnic will take place from noon until dusk on Saturday, July 10 at the area surrounding Teal Lake on Croix Street in Negaunee. Several events will take place and food and souvenir vendors will be available, as well as live entertainment.

Community Picnic Vendor Information

The deadline to return all required paperwork to be a vendor for the July 10 community picnic at the lake is Friday, June 11. Space and electricity are limited. Vendors are responsible for their own electric adaptors, pigtails, etc. Spaces will not be reserved without paperwork and entry fee by the deadline, and are held on a first-come, first-served basis. No exceptions.

Community Picnic Vendor Details

If you wish to participate, fill out and return a vendor form and Hold Harmless Agreement. Vendor fee is $100 for non-profit organizations and $125 for commercial organizations.

Please be specific when listing your goods and/or services. If duplications arise, we will notify you. The decision to participate when duplications occur rests solely with the vendor.

Vendors are required to carry Commercial General Liability insurance as outlined on the reservation form and submit a Certificate of Insurance with your registration form.

Vendors are responsible for temporary food licenses, where applicable. For details, call the health department at 475-4195 or www.mqthealth.org. Vendors must submit their application for a temporary food license 30 days prior to the event or the Health Department will charge an additional $25 fee.

The deadline to return all required paper paperwork is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20. Space and electric power are limited. Spaces will not be held if your paperwork and entry fee is not received by the deadline. No exceptions. Vendors are responsible for all electrical adapters, pig-tails, etc.

Irontown reserves the right to refuse any entry on the basis of space and/or power limitations.

Vendors need to be registered and then set up on site by 11:00 a.m., rain or shine.

There are NO REFUNDS due to inclement weather.
